With the similarity in physicochemical properties with biological tissue, polymeric hydrogels have been extensively studied for biomedical applications. Especially thermosensitive hydrogels have received considerable attention in recent years due to the simple operation, no introduction of organic solvent and high safety. Polyester-based thermosensitive hydrogels showed higher gelation concentration and obvious acid microenvironment after degradation, and were hard to be biofunctionalized, which limited their further applications.
