By “high conductivity solid electrolytes”, the present author refers to the electrolytes exhibiting ionic conductivities higher than 10−3 S cm−1 in the solid state. As high conductivity solid electrolytes in the crystalline state at room temperature, we have some univalent ion conductors such as H+, Li+, Na+, Ag+, Cu+ and F− conductors. In this paper, some of their characteristics are described briefly.
