摘要
In any kind of calamity, the search and rescue teams are first to arrive and are a crucial part of disaster management. Currently, a widespread disaster can slow down a rescue team putting more time and resources into the process which costs lives that are affected by the disaster. The proposed project provides a proof of concept that will enable the search and rescue team to better manage their resources and conduct rescue operations effectively. Our drone system is designed to be deployed during search and rescue operations and searches for people that are confined to a location. The drone sent back these locations which can be used to effectively deploy the rescue team. This helps in minimizing the time for actually finding the affected people during the rescue process and directing the rescue team where they are required.
