摘要
In recent years, the production of agricultural waste has shown a huge growth trend, which has brought a series of challenges to environmental protection and sustainable high-quality economic development. Converting these agricultural wastes into methanol is considered to be a promising sustainable energy technology that can achieve the dual goals of environmental protection and the production of clean and sustainable energy. The purpose of this chapter is to introduce the utilization of main agricultural wastes, including the five utilization technologies of crop straw and the energy utilization of livestock manure and domestic waste. Besides, this paper takes the production of methanol from crop straw through syngas as an example, introduces the main process methods and the methods to improve the methanol yield in these links. In addition, we present some views on the advantages and difficulties in the production of methanol from agricultural waste. In the end, this paper looks forward to the future development direction.
