Examplary analysis scripts, coded in Matlab R2020b. For the original analysis, Matlab structs were used, which were
re-organized into the non-proprietary data format .csv for this repository.

=== SUMMARY ===
=============== This data was collected between August and September 2020 at the Balgrist Campus (ETH Zurich).
The ethical approval for the study was issued by the ETH Zurich ethics commission (EK 2019-N-165).
More details can be found in the scientific publication. All participants participated voluntarily and gave their informed consent.
Ten study PARTICIPANTS (P1...P10) without upper limb impairments, one participant with a diagnosed Bethlem myopathy (P_{MD}) and one participant with a spinal cord injury (P_{SCI}) completed three study tasks.
Data was anonymized and does not reflect the order of recruitment. Each participant performed the three TASKS:
>> ROM:
- three maximal arm elevations (theta) in six different directions of plane of elevation (phi = {0°, 30°, 60°, 80°, 90°, 120°}, randomized)
- three maximal arm swipes at theta=90° of arm elevation
- three maximal external rotations at theta=90° of arm elevation, elbow flexed at 90°
>> ADL: three functional reaching movements, lifting bottles (m1=0.25 kg, m2=1.0 kg) to simulated shelves (h1=chest height, h2=nose height), orders/pairings randomized
>> END: holding up the extended arm until fatigue
- participants w/o impairments: while holding a weight conforming with 30% of the force generated during a maximum voluntary contraction (MVC)
- participants with impairments: unloaded ... under the following CONDITIONS on two separate study days:
>> NO : unassisted, wearing a sleeveless shirt;
>> MY : assisted by the textile exomuscle, compensating for 70% of gravitational forces. More information can be found in the README file and the scientific publication under the same name and authors.
