摘要
This research is an attempt to optimize the power conversion efficiency of organic solar by experimenting with varied materials and different layer thickness. In this we have used different material as an active layer and we have also used buffer layer and we have sandwiched the active layer between 2 buffer layers which eventually increase the power conversion efficiency of the solar cell. Previously research has been carried out on organic solar cells but the main limitation is the less power conversion efficiency, so, our aim is to effectively optimize this efficiency and take it to more than 10% so as to make organic solar cells viable for commercial use. we are using different materials as an active layer by considering their HOMO-LUMO energy level to increase the overall absorption spectrum of the organic solar cell which in turn increases the power conversion efficiency.
