A novel copper(II) complex with salicylidene carbohydrazide ligand that promotes oxidative stress and apoptosis in triple negative breast cancer cells

A Cu( ii ) complex binds and cleaves DNA effectively, exhibiting selective and significant cytotoxicity against breast cancer cells by the induction of intrinsic apoptosis, as evidenced by morphological changes and protein expression analysis.
