Design and Experiment of Three-stage Automatic Walnut Opening Machine

The dry fruit pre-opening machine is used to improve the quality of walnut shell breaking. Xinzaofeng and Xiangling walnut are taken as examples to conduct batch directional opening processing of walnut. A kind of automatic walnut opening machine is designed, which mainly includes feeding hopper, grading roller, hard brush roller, sorting slideway, frame, mechanical automatic opening device and storage box. Among them, the mechanical automatic opening device includes cutting saw blade, electric cylinder, walnut fixture and cylinder, etc., which is controlled by the programmable controller system to realize automatic production and processing. The three-stage sorting automatic walnut opening machine is used to carry out related experiments on Xinzaofeng and Xiangling walnuts, static pressure test results and orthogonal test results are used to further optimize the three-stage automatic walnut opening machine, the opening rate is more than 98%, the opening position near the walnut belly is more than 86%, the opening depth is 0.82∼2.69mm, the opening width is 2.85∼ 3.72 mm, the opening length is 18.2 ∼ 21.9mm, the one-time breaking rate was increased by more than 9%, the high kernel rate was increased by more than 12%, which can get better breaking effect after optimization.
