Nonetheless, exploration of cyclic polymers in general and in particular of cyclic block copolymers has been limited mainly due to the poor efficiency of the ring-closure reaction led in all cases to significant quantities of unreacted linear precursor and poly-condensation products.In this study, we synthesized telechelic ABA triblock copolymer of polystyrene and polybutadiene as A and B, respectively, and the synthesis of AB cyclic copolymer using the telechelic ABA triblock copolymer by a coupling reaction. Temperature gradient interaction chromatography (TGIC) was applied for the separation and characterization of as-synthesized AB cyclic copolymer |
