摘要
The paper studies the problem of employee career growth and its impact on employees' turnover intention. Based on the relational literature, the structure of career growth is investigated an a scale to measure career growth is developed. 879 employees from 50 firms answered the questionnaire. Factor analysis and structural equation model were used to analyse the data. The authors found that career growth measure contained three factors, including career progression, career capacity development and promotion opportunity. The results showed that all those three factors of career growth had significant negative impact on employees' turnover intention. The role of career progression on turnover intention was most significant.
