摘要
Heterodyne techniques applied to holographic interferometry provide an increase in sensitivity of nearly three orders of magnitude over classical holographic interferometry. Consequently, surface displacements on the order of Angstroms may be mapped with great precision using these techniques. When combined with pulsed holographic recording, it is possible to measure and map surface displacements associated with high speed transient phenomena such as acoustic waves.
