摘要
Foodborne diseases, induced by various foodborne pathogens, have emerged as an urgent global health concern. The establishment of prompt, precise, and expeditious detection methods is crucial for ensuring food safety and quality. Presently, conventional culture methods, molecular biology approaches, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assays are inadequate to meet the requirements of point-of-care testing (POCT) technologies. Various high-throughput biosensors, notably Lab-on-Chip (LOC) and encoded microparticle-based bio-barcode, have emerged as innovative solutions. These approaches facilitate high-throughput, automated, sensitive, accurate, and rapid detection of foodborne pathogens, playing a pivotal role in food safety assurance. This review comprehensively introduces the current status, categorization, and application of novel high-throughput biosensors based on LOC and encoded microparticle-based bio-barcode in foodborne pathogen detection. Furthermore, it sheds light on the development and challenges faced by future smart biosensors. This review aims to provide significant reference value for comprehending the construction of cutting-edge high-throughput smart sensors and ensuring food safety.
