摘要
Transient Electromagnetic Pulse (TEMP) well logging technology is an efficient wellbore geophysical method to obtain the distribution of electrical parameters (dielectric constant and conductivity) of undisturbed formation around the borehole according to the propagation characteristics of nanosecond narrow pulse in the formation. Compared with conventional logging methods, the TEMP logging has two prominent advantages: narrow pulses emitted can separate the response of different target regions in time window; abundant spectrum information with low frequency broadband characteristics. Therefore, TEMP well logging has tremendous advantages in detecting fracture-cave zones beside wells and identifying reservoir fluid properties, which has great potential for exploration and development of fractured-vuggy reservoirs.
