摘要
The addition of LiF salt to a lithium battery electrolyte improves the surface diffusion of ions on the electrode surface, which leads to smooth electrodeposition. It also forms a protective layer on the electrode that prevents degradation of electrolyte by side reactions. This LiF additive can be effective in improving the capacity and lifetime of a commercial lithium metal battery.
