Novel Therapies in Cancer: Trials and Tribulations

Abstract Clinical trials are the backbone for advancing therapeutic options for patients diagnosed with cancer. Yet only 7.1% of patients with cancer participate in clinical trials in the United States. We review some of the reasons for poor accrual and discuss potential solutions.
