摘要
• Influence of intracavity polarization-maintaining fiber parameters on the dual-comb fiber laser is deduced. • Dual-comb laser has stable repetition frequency difference. • Repetition frequency difference allows for a wide range of adjustment. We design a stable polarization-multiplexed dual-comb source (DCS) by deriving the effect of the introduced birefringence on the repetition frequency difference (Δf rep ). There is no phase-locking device in the DCS. Carboxy-functional graphene oxide saturable absorber (GO-COOH SA) is prepared using the liquid phase exfoliation method. The polarization-maintaining fiber (PMF) introduces large birefringence, which produces asynchronous vector solitons (AVSs) with a stable Δf rep . We record and analyze the Δf rep from 79 Hz to 656 Hz. The interferograms of the dual-comb demonstrate its potential in applications. Meanwhile, we separately vary the length of the PMF and the repetition frequency of the laser to discuss the effect of these two parameters on the Δf rep . After 15 min of testing, DCS displays excellent stability, our work will facilitate the design of dual-comb lasers and enrich the study of AVSs.
