Since the occlusion effect makes the general parameterized time-frequency (GPTF) analysis failure, and the coherent single range Doppler interferometry (CSRDI) method is time-consuming, a micro-Doppler curve extraction method named CSRDI-modified GPTF (CSRDI-MGPTF) is investigated for the cone-shaped target with occlusion effect in this paper. The proposed CSRDI-MGPTF method is more time-saving than CSRDI, and more robust and accurate than GPTF in low signal-to-noise ratio and occlusion circumstances. According to the extracted micro-Doppler curves, the micro motion parameters can be estimated. For the cone-shaped target with many scatterer points, a multicomponent signal separating method is proposed to reduce the impact of each component on the micro-Doppler curves extraction and parameters estimation. Additionally, a specific implementation of the CSRDI-MGPTF method for differently distributed fixed scatterer points are discussed. Finally, simulation results based on the electromagnetic computation data are carried out to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
