摘要
Indirect wet process was adopted to fabricate lithium orthosilicate(Li4SiO4) ceramic pebbles,including one-step sphere shaping and reaction sintering.By verifying the solid phase percent and sintering temperature,the pebbles diameter could be controlled from 0.5mm to 1.0mm.Surface and fracture of the pebbles have abundant channel structures.The obtained ceramic pebble isαphase and phase purity accounts for 99%,Li content is 21.7%,the density is up to 85%T.D.(theory density),sphericity is better than 1.04,and the average crush load is about 45N.
