摘要
This article proposes a modification to a previously developed agent-based simulation model of aircraft emergency evacuation situations in order to account for the possibility of passengers reaching panic state. The main objectives of the study are to investigate the effects of panic behavior on evacuation time, and to understand which factors may influence panic spread among passengers. For that purpose, a simulation experiment is carried out according to a full factorial design with four factors, namely, emergency exit availability, number of passengers on board, mental state, and physical interactions among passengers, in a total of 140 simulation scenarios.
