5G antennas typically operate in outdoor environments. These outdoor factors can reduce antenna accuracy, shorten life, and cause poor operational reliability. Therefore, applying materials with water-repellent properties to the radome can play an important role in protecting them from external environments. This paper reports a superhydrophobic nanocoating that can be sprayed on the radome. The dielectric constant of the coating is 2.709, and the dielectric strength is 38.58 kV/mm. The radome with a superhydrophobic coating was tested by rain, and its signal transmission is only −0.24 dB. Meanwhile, the static contact angle of the coating can reach 157°.
