摘要
Plastics are used and collected in a highly mixed state, which restricts them from economical mechanical recycling. Single-use plastics (SUPs), mainly polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), and polyethylene terephthalate (PET), make up more than 2/3 of all plastics. They have the shortest service lives and therefore cause the most urgent pressure on the environment. Herein, a novel graft copolymer is synthesized and used to increase the elongation at break of the ternary plastic alloy by more than 7000%, which shows great potential for processing mixed plastics on a large scale.
