摘要
Abstract A procedure yielding alcohol 2 as a yellow oil is presented. The main paraphernalia used is a three‐necked round‐bottomed flask equipped with an egg‐shaped, Teflon‐coated, magnetic stir bar, an internal thermometer, a two‐way stopcock with a hose, and a three‐way stopcock connected to a nitrogen inlet hose. A brief summary of asymmetric Michael reaction of aldehydes and nitroalkenes concludes the chapter.
