Factors affecting intimal hyperplasia of saphenous vein graft

Objective Saphenous vein graft(SVG) re-stenosis has an severe adverse effect on the long-term prognosis of coronary artery bypass grafting. Intimal hyperplasia(IH) is the primary cause and basic pathology of SVG re-stenosis. Comparing to arterial graft IH, different factors promote IH of SVG. In this review, we summarized the special factors promoting IH of SVG.
