摘要
Modelling and experimental work have been used to optimise the lift-off process with physical vapour deposition (PVD) metallisation. This work shows that by optimising both the resist profile and the PVD conditions lift-off results similar to evaporation can be achieved. Other advantages of PVD over evaporation are discussed which make PVD the metallisation technique of choice.
