摘要
SAR Interferometry (InSAR) at Venus could revolutionize our understanding of the geology and geodynamics of the planet by providing meter-precision topography and cm-precision change detection. While InSAR has become routine on Earth, InSAR at Venus faces a different set of challenges and opportunities because of its dense atmosphere and slow rotation rate. This paper presents a concept study for InSAR from consecutive rather than exact repeat passes. It introduces the principles and conditions of the pass-to-pass InSAR technique, analyzes its performance, and identifies potentials and limitations.
