摘要
In this paper, a multi-layer transmission metasurface for high efficiency linear polarization (LP) conversion and beam control is proposed. The metasurface unit cell is composed of three layers of metal and two layers of dielectric. The top and bottom metal layers are orthogonal grids while the middle metal layer is C-shaped split ring. By altering the opening angle of C-shaped metal split ring, phase-gradient metasurface is proposed. Simulation results have proved that polarization conversion ratio (PCR) is above 90% and the beam of electromagnetic wave (EMW) can be refracted 30° at 10GHz, which is a good validation of the generalized Snell's law.
