With the advent of artificial intelligence (AI)., organizations can harness the power of machine learning algorithms and big data analytics to gain greater insight into their supply chain processes and make more informed decisions. AI has proven to be a powerful tool for optimizing supply chain operations by automating processes, forecasting demand and identifying areas for improvement. [1] Our analysis of the main research poles reveals that learning methods are slowly gaining ground, with observational and interactive methods providing a new area of research. Finally, we provide a roadmap for future research on AI applications in SCM. Our analysis highlights the importance of behavioral considerations in future research.
