摘要
In this paper, we theoretically propose a highly sensitive terahertz sensor based on a graphene metamaterial absorber in the THz region. The numerical analysis of the proposed sensor is numerically evaluated using the finite element method. The numerical results agree well with the analytical results of the coupled mode theory. Furthermore, the proposed sensor has no polarization sensitivity. For refractive index sensing, the simulation results show that sensing. The simulation results show that the sensor has the maximum sensitivity, quality factor, and figure of merit of 2.372 THz/RIU, 179.95, and 64.62RIU−1, respectively. As a result, the proposed high performance sensor can be useful in biological diagnosis and environmental monitoring.
