摘要
The presence of onboard magnetic resonance scanners represents an unprecedented opportunity to derive quantitative imaging biomarkers from daily radiotherapy practice. The application of radiomics and quantitative analysis to these images may enable radiation oncologists to obtain innovative decision support tools for the optimization of their practice, identify new dose prescription paradigms, and successfully predict response to treatments or the onset of toxicity. The aim of this chapter is to present the prospects for the application of radiomics in the framework of MR-Linacs radiotherapy, and make the reader aware of the current state of the art, future research, and clinical and physical perspectives of this innovative and fascinating knowledge domain.
