摘要
Incineration has emerged as a favored method for treating municipal solid waste. However, this process yields residues containing concentrated levels of soluble inorganic pollutants, which can cause significant damage to the subsequent process. This chapter aims to explore the effectiveness of washing, accelerated carbonation, and electrokinetic remediation technologies, to treat these solid residues. These techniques are mainly focused on the removal and transformation of soluble pollutants. While single use of each method may not be sufficient, they are often complemented with auxiliary additives or technologies. The chapter will discuss the working principles, application fields, and influencing factors of treatment technologies and introduce the auxiliary additives and technologies that can bolster their effectiveness.
