Single cell sequencing reveals fibroblast heterogeneity in healthy and diseased vasculature

Background and Aims: Fibroblasts are present in healthy and diseased arteries. Their role in vascular dysfunction remains unclear, as current markers are unable to distinguish fibroblasts from other vascular cells.
