Edwardsiella, a new genus of Enterobacteriaceae based on a new species, E. tarda

SUMMARY The authors give a full description of a new species and genus to be included in the family Enterobacteriaceae. The generic name Edwardsiella (Ewing and McWhorter) and the species name Edwardsiella tarda are suggested for use in connection with the bacteria described.
