Gamma glutamyl transferase (GGT), alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), and alkaline phosphatase (ALP) are commonly used liver function markers. We performed a dose–response meta-analysis to investigate the association between liver enzymes and cardiovascular disease (CVD
