Formulating Rigid PVC to Optimise Flame Retardancy and Smoke Suppression

Fire performance tests have been carried out on a number of inorganic flame retardants and fillers in rigid PVC formulations. The results have been used to find a way of maximising fire retardancy and minimising smoke evolution without affecting the physical and mechanical properties of the material.
