Abstract This paper takes the distribution network in mountainous areas as the research object, based on the construction mode of feeder automation and the influence of distributed energy access on feeder automation, studies the influence of distributed energy access on the distribution system in mountainous areas, and puts forward a feeder automation planning method for 10 kV distribution network in mountainous areas considering DG access. On this basis, this project aims to achieve the lowest annual total cost of automatic configuration and establishes a feeder automation planning model. Finally, taking the mountainous distribution network as the research object, through the preferred arrangement method and a number of feeder automation, the recommended form of feeder automation plan for the mountainous distribution network is finally formed to provide a reference for the design of feeder automation in the mountainous distribution network. On the premise of meeting the reliability index, an example shows that this method has a better economic effect.
