摘要
Global climate change effect all so dependency on electrical energy switches to renewable energy resources which have emission-free energy. Sea has an enormous source of energy for the utilization of generation marine energy that fulfills five times the energy requirement across the world. India has a large 7500 km of coastal lines, so it focused to develop energy from the ocean this developed the marine current turbine for effective utilization of this marine energy, which is later converted into electrical power. By use of the latest technology design and modeling of power generators and turbines make it effective for the generation of emission-free, predictable, no fuel requirement for generators and no land requirement for operation. Ocean energy will prove the backbone in the energy sector like the country India. The Wind energy conversion system (WECS) is a partially similar structure, Operation, and working to the marine current conversion system (MCECS), but few parameters like density and the humidity of seawater differentiate the structure and design of marine current conversion system (MCECS). According to CRISIL (Credit Rating information services of India Limited) Report, 2014 says Khambat, Kutch (Gujrat), South Gujrat, Sundarbans (West Bengal), and the coast of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra Kerala Tamilnadu are suitable sites for Ocean energy generation will possible. This paper show Ocean energy generation through the different type of ocean source and operational and prototype of a marine current turbine (MCT), policies, and challenges for Ocean energy.
