Dinuclear ytterbium(III) benzamidinate complexes with bridging S32-, Se22- and Te22- ligands: synthesis, structure and magnetic properties

The reduction of S 8 , Se or Te by an Yb( ii ) benzamidinate complex afforded a series of dinuclear Yb( iii ) chalcogenides and the Te 2 2− bridging one is a rare ytterbium telluride single molecule magnet.
