摘要
In this paper, we report the preparation and properties of a novel chalcogenide photonic crystal fiber with a high extinction ratio (ER). The Ge 10 As 22 Se 68 preform was fabricated using the computerized numerical control precision drilling method. The drawn fiber has a minimum loss of 0.63 dB/m @ 6 μm, near-zero dispersion in the MIR, and 10 -3 birefringence @ 4 μm. The ER of the fiber averaged -17.11 dB. The fibers with low-loss, near-zero flat dispersion, high birefringence, and high ER are considered suitable for MIR-OCT.
