Coronary Thrombosis with Distal Embolization in a Young Patient after Orthopaedic Surgery: An Informative Case Report

Here, we present the peculiar case of a young man who presented with an acute myocardial infarction few days after an orthopaedic surgery. Myocardial infarction after an orthopaedic surgery is not rare in the elderly population but is very rare in young patients. This case is special as it describes a complex combination of thrombotic risk factors.
