DETERMINATION OF RELATIONSHIP AMONG DEMOGRAPHIC VARIABLES AND THE PERCEPTIONS OF SAFETY OF URBAN PARK USERS: A CASE STUDY IN THREE DIFFERENT PARK IN ISTANBUL, TURKEY

This research were analyzed through the surveys applied on the users of three different park, Macka Park, Ulus Park and Zeytinburnu Park, in Istanbul between 2004-2005. The survey was conducted through random sampling on weekdays and at weekends allocated on an equal basis and through face to face interaction. 600 surveys were carried out. The collected data were analysed through SPSS (PC), a statistical analysis program and the chisquare test was carried out to find significant differences.
