摘要
ABSTRACT THE design and performance of a near infrared reflectance moisture meter is discussed. The meter is small, hand-held and takes reflectance measurements using an integrating cylinder and two narrow band interference filters, at 1.80 and 1.94 jum (micrometers) to get the moisture reading. Standard error of estimate was found to be 1.9% moisture units over a range from 5 to 35% on clay and loam soils..
