摘要
This paper delves into the comprehensive study of the structural and magnetic properties of cobalt ferrite nanoparticles, magnetic Cobalt Ferrite nanoparticles were successfully synthesised by the sol–gel method using the needed precursors in the desired amount. The resultant CFO nanoparticle prepared is black, and XRD results say that the prepared cobalt ferrite has an average particle size of 37 nm which has been confirmed the same by HR-TEM. XPS confirmed the occupancy of cation at octahedral and tetrahedral site. RAMAN displays all its five modes, confirming the presence of cobalt ferrite. A vibrating sample magnetometer (VSM) was applied to determine magnetic characteristics at room temperature.
