摘要
In this work, a 2D photonic-crystal ring resonator for albumin concentration detection in urine is proposed. FDTD method is used for modeling this sensor. When the concentration of albumin in urine is changed, there is a change in refractive index (RI) of sensor holes in the resonator. When RI of holes are varied, there is wavelength shift in the transmission spectra of resonator. The change in albumin concentration in urine is measured as a change in resonant wavelength of sensor. The sensor provides a 117 nm/RIU of sensitivity and maximum Q- factor of 26144. The change in resonant wavelength is 0.15nm for the change in albumin concentration from 7-125mg/dl to 250-1000mg/dl.
