摘要
Chiral diol scaffolds like BINOL are ubiquitous throughout enantioselective catalysis. Still, there is a need for greater structural diversity among catalyst scaffolds. In this issue of Chem, Yeung and co-workers report an efficient enantioselective route to a new class of chiral BPOLs, demonstrating their utility as chiral catalysts and ligands.
