摘要
It is widely acknowledged that ocean waves produce an enormous source of energy. This paper deals with wave prediction by means of kalman filter and a wave energy converter (WEC) which is controlled by model predictive control (MPC). In order to increase absorbed energy, prediction horizon, control horizon and sampling time of MPC are optimized by revolutionary algorithm and improved MPC is presented. Absorbed energy using controlling methods of improved MPC and traditional MPC are compared in simulation part.
