GONG: an open source MBSE toolset

Advances in computer sciences and open-source collaborative practices have boosted software productivity in the last decade. For system engineers, those advances upset “make or buy” decisions of MBSE tools. GONG, an open-source toolset based on the latest software technologies, is presented. GONG enables generation of MBSE tools specific to a project. GONG generated tools can manage system engineering data at all stages of a project. GONG generated tools are open source, license free and lightweight (<100MB). They can be shipped with the engineering data to be reviewed by all stakeholders, enabling MBSE to meet its full potential.
