Abstract
Conductive crystalline porous materials (cCPMs) have recently experienced huge research interest. The thin films of cCPMs not only offer unique charge carrier transport pathways within their highly ordered skeletons and grain boundaries but also facilitate mass transport of guest species, which aid in creating synergistic interfaces between cCPM and substrate materials. Herein, we aim to summarize and categorize the design strategies on cCPM thin films and then highlight the synergistic interface based on cCPM thin films. Specifically, this review is organized into the following three parts: (i) the categories and design of cCPMs, (ii) the design and characterization of cCPM thin films and a proof-of-concept example of the synergistic interface, and (iii) the outlook as the conclusion.
