Full-term management of patients with HIV infection

With the prolongation of the survival period of AIDS patients, the incidence of various non-AIDS-defining disease (NAD) is on the rise. In order to improve their life quality and prognosis, the new concept of full-term management of patients with HIV infection is firstly put forward in Chinese guidelines for diagnosis and treatment of HIV/AIDS (2018 edition) including prevention and diagnosis, opportunistic infection treatment, individualized treatment evaluation, follow-up testing and psychological evaluation. The new model of management will provide references for national AIDS workers in the process of disease prevention and control, as well as long-term treatment.
