摘要
Electrochemical deposition of Zn under the DC and various frequencies of pulse deposition modes was studied in pure 6 M KOH electrolyte saturated by zinc oxide. Current density was set up to the level of mossy deposit creation under DC condition. Morphology of deposit was visualized by scanning electron microscopy and the corrosion properties of the deposited layers examined by discharging/dissolution of the deposit after different open circuit voltage waiting times. Diffusion properties of layers in relation to their dissolution were studied by EIS and by anodic linear polarization measurements. The results show that the pulse deposition essentially influences the morphology of deposit along wide range of pulse frequencies 0.5 - 500 Hz.
