A New Piezoelectric Quartz Crystal Sensor for the Detection of Nicotine

The nicotine sensor was prepared by coating the tetraphenylboron sodium-PVC sensitive film on piezoelecric quartz crystal.When the pH value was in the range of 5.0 and 7.5,the linear range was from 1.0×10~(-6)to 1.0×10~(-2)mol/L,with detection limit of 8.0×10~(-7)mol /L.Compared with ultraviolet spectrophotometric method,this method had wider linear range and lower detection limit.
